The isle of Ischia

stands from history on a
strategic position in the
middle of Mediterranean sea.

Ring Hostel
is situated in Forio,
on the west coast of Ischia
island, Forio has a surface
area of 1800sq km’s and a
population of 11.000.
How to reach the
Island
By Ferry:
The Island of Ischia
is connected to the main
land with ferries
and hydrofoils
from;
Naples, Sorrento, Capri,
*Positano and *Amalfi

the *Amalfi and *Positano
times are not on the
site, there is one ferry
per day in the summer
for this service to/from
Ischia, check with the

Tickets can be purchased
from the ferry companies
at the port of
departure, it is no
cheaper to buy a return
fare so you are best to
buy oneways so as to
have no restrictions on
your stay or onward
journey.
By Plane:
Naples airport,
Capodichino, is directly
connected to Beverello
harbour by a service bus
but it is possible to
also reach both the
harbours by taxi.
By Train: It is possible
to arrive at the
following stations:
Napoli Campi Flegrei (3
km’s from Mergellina
harbour), Napoli
Mergellina (about 300
metres from Mergellina
harbour), Napoli
Centrale and Napoli
Pianna Garibaldi (both
allow immediate access
to Garibaldi Plaza that
is around 4 km’s from
Beverello

- it's advisable
to embark from
Pozzuoli both
for the
frequency of the
runs that for
the smaller
necessary time
(1h around).

How to reach
the Ring Hostel

There are two ports on the
island, Ischia porto and
Forio porto, Ring Hostel is
located in Forio
From Ischia Porto
-Get
off the ferry, go to the bus
station, about 100 metres.
Take the #1, #2, or CS bus
to Forio. Get off at bus
stop number 55. (Port of
Forio on your right.) - Look
across the street for the
Captain Morgan Biglietteria
(ticket office for other
ferries) - Take
directions from Forio Porto
From
Forio Porto
-
Get off the ferry, go left
(20 metres) on the road
until you see the Captain
Morgan Biglietteria on your
right, cross the road. Take
the road immediately to the
left of the biglietteria
stand into the square, go to
your left at the rear of the
square to take the road,
with small shops, straight
ahead, 200 metres, until the
road curves a sharp right.
STOP - You will see a small
store named Bollicine
directly in front of you -
Don’t follow the road right,
but take the small alleyway
to your left. (Via Gaetano
Morgera Cierco) - This road
will wind around for about
300 metres and finally take
you to a square where the
hostel is located. - Before
you get to the square where
the hostel is, you will find
another small square with a
small parking lot on the
left, ignore it and continue
straight following the road.
- When you arrive at the
second square, directly on
your left you will see the
hostel - It has double brown
wood door at the entrance
and the cornerstone is
marked 1828.
